Sixties Shopping at Nichii

Sixties fashion is back in, ladies. Am sure you’ve read about it in all fashion magazines, and seen it on sale in the shops. To avoid looking like my mother, I pretty much avoided these pieces, until I saw these at Nichii. Voila, my first sixties fashion buy, and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

Nichii piece 1
RM41.93 (30% off RM59.90)
Nichii piece 1
RM53.91 (10% off RM59.90)

This one’s my favourite (love the colours). The dark band in the middle hides a thick waist. Wear that with oversized sunnies, and wedges, and it’s off to Sunday lunch with the girls for me :p

Oh, and I saw this gorgeous coat too, and it was marked down from RM99.90 to RM69.93!! I originally wanted to get one when I was in Melbourne, but I couldn’t find one which I liked (plus the ones I saw weren’t exactly easy on the wallet). When I saw this one at Nichii, I just had to snap it up. And at RM70, you can’t really go wrong.

Nichii piece 3
(no, I’m not going to wear it in Malaysia lah)

Nichii has very good pieces at very affordable prices. Now that the Malaysian Mega Sale is on (16 June to 2 September), you can get the latest fashion at even better prices. It stocks work wear, trendy pieces, and also evening wear. At first glance, some of the pieces might be a little tacky, but trust me, it won’t be difficult to find the good stuff.

Ooh I have to check out Niichi soon. They make great “disposable” trendy clothes. Stuff you want to wear for a while but not when they go out of fashion. Nice finds 🙂 Oh and I agree with the tacky comment. Some stuff are very “aunty” lol

You know…I look at those pics, and the displays at boutiques these days and there’s one message sorely missed – Fashion comes and goes, but style is everlasting.

And unfortunately, that’s not what I see from many places.

At least that’s what I think.

i like the coat too, nice! 😉

I have been there several times, but never got anything from there before. It’s not really my type of fashion, and I think I suck in 60’s looks.

Paris: Haha, OMG, that was exactly how I called it too! Disposable clothes indeed, hehe :p

River of Karma: Yep, that’s the frivolity and inconsistency of fashion. So hard to find classic pieces that stick.

Lia: Yeah, that’s my best buy :p Thanks!

Prettybeautiful: To be honest, I thought I’d suck at it too. The only reason I actually thought to try it on was that the colours really caught my eye (if not, nah, wouldn’t even bother).

Oh my gosh!!! That white wrap around jacket is superb! I have almost similar design but its a knee lenght dress.. 1 dark brown and 1 black… everytime I wear those dresses, I feel like private investigator hahahahahah….
Neway why wait till you go oversea before you want to wear it… you can always wear to office.. I do and get compliments all the time 🙂

When did you buy this? Do you think they still have it? Does it come with other colours? Thanks!
