April 3 marks the release of the limited edition designer collection for Target in Australia. It was designed by Zac Posen, which will be available at more affordable prices. Target has had previous designers for their Designers for Target line before, such as Issac Mizrahi, Stella McCartney, etc.
Just to show you what kind of clothing items will be available from the Zac Posen for Target line, I took a snapshot of a page in the April issue of InStyle Australia.
There’s a genuine replica (oxymoron, I know, but if Zac Posen did the replica, would it still be a fake?) of the dress Katherine Heigl wore to the 2007 Emmy Awards. It will be available in Target for AUD299.99. It’s one of the highlights of his collection for Target.
I’ll be in Chadstone on April 3 for the launch, just to see how well-received it will be (or not). A countdown is already going on in the store, giving the hype. This should be interesting. I might even find something for myself 
I just hope it won’t rain on that day though, or else it will be too cold and wet to walk a half hour. Fingers crossed!
Zac Posen for Target is available in the stores shown in the Designers for Target website. Some stores will have limited range of the collection, and some the full range.

ooh i love that dress. love love love! I used to see all the Target collections and be so jealous not to be able to snap up “designer” clothing at cheap prices. Oh well… Have fun and report back with all the news!
do you know if the target in the city has the same range as well? i might pop by after work on friday to have a look. if the crowd is crazy, then i’m going to grab a cup of coffee and head for the train station
Paris: Hehe, me too. I actually wrote to the management in Chaddy to see if they’ll allow me to cover the launch
Hopefully I get a good response (if any at all) from them.
