oh yeah! I remembered Paris B’s post on her MAC encounter. I had one!!! That’s why if you can see in my site, I always complain about my MAC studio fix as a bit dark for me…and I just had to use it as it’s expensive! Anyways, I just asked for help on what shade to choose for myself and the SA just took one “nano second” look at me and said “you’re an NC35!” and then she gave me the new NC35 and the stupid me before just took it..trust them..coz that’s what they are there for right? They’re supposed to be experts! and darn!!! it’s a wrong shade !!! uggghh hehehe venting venting venting! *breaths in and out*

Just gotta do a bit of research, that’s all. And by research, I mean go to those websites, sign up for their newsletters, and then you’ll be alerted of any promotions and/or freebies!

I’m so feeling you, girl. That’s how it’s like in Malaysia. If you don’t ask, you don’t get. And it’s annoying because by giving away those samples, you might be actually getting more business in the end. These people just don’t see the bigger picture. Over here, you get samples with almost any makeup you buy. Even if you don’t, the sales assistants are mostly very helpful (I won’t say all; nobody’s perfect, after all). Same goes for the sales assistants in Japan.

wow..you guys out there really have all those great freebies or trials. You know, that’s my complaint here, I am so into trying products in “trial” sizes before I buy the thing as I always ended up not liking the product or it just doesn’t work for me. I remembered when I bought a whole lot of Clinique products, I had to go back to the SA just to ask for some samples…they wouldn’t give if I don’t ask. And you know what? With the sampler Clinique MOisture surge, that’s when i realized it worked so well on me, I had to go back and get the biggest size! Imagine what giving out really tiny product can do to their sales??? Oh well, just venting..hahahhaa
