The thing about the leaking is probably because you didn’t use the proper one. Like there is mini and maxi pads, there’s also different types of tampons. If your flow is heavy, change more often.

And it shouldnt hurt. it shouldn’t feel as if you have anything inside. Nor should it pop out. Maybe it wasn’t deep enough.

Hehe, I know what you mean. If you haven’t tried it, then you won’t miss it. I didn’t put it in the right way that day, and it hurt when I was out at dinner all evening. It’s like constant, non-stop, you know, “doing it”. And that hurts. What a relief it was when I took it out.

It isn’t hard at all actually. Still, I think I didn’t put it in deep enough, and it hurt when I was sitting down. It’s just like putting contact lenses on; it’s uncomfortable like hell when you put it in for the very first time, but after a while, you don’t even feel it’s there. Just follow the instructions carefully. Your position when putting on a tampon is important. And breathe out when putting it in. You’ll relax better, and it’ll slide in effortlessly

Hahahaha, I know! A lot of people thought it’d break your hymen or something with a tampon. You can actually break it when horse riding, doing gymnastics, etc. It doesn’t mean you’re not a virgin just because you broke it during exercise. And with a tampon? Nah :p

Ouch! Still, it’s an experience you won’t forget I heard that they leak because you aren’t using one of a higher absorbency. Or it isn’t “in” enough. Mine leaked too for the first time.

Hahahaha, speaking of TSS, I kept reminding Tim to check me out if I feel faint, if I don’t look good on my face, if I was getting sick, etc, just in case I get TSS. He was like, “aiyo, so difficult, don’t use lah!” :p

And TSS is very rare. I think its about 1% of the population.
