Yeah, do give that a go. It might not suit your skin, but at least you didn't have to fork out so much money to learn that lesson.

I checked out the website; am afraid that the Blue Silk Creme is far too expensive for me to order online without having trying it out first. Even with the sample, I'd have to pay a lot for shipping fees. I'd give it a miss for now.

Oh yeah, let's see, they have blue creams (turnaround), yellow creams (dramatically different moisturiser), orange creams (moisture surge), and what have yous :p

thanks for the head up. i almost wanted to buy lancome hydrazen series, but an essence and the moisturizer cost about rm400. ouch! i think now i will wreck ebay to see if there is any good deals. i might buy this clinique on strawberry net since it is about usd40 and its rm169 here~!

Clinique was a brand I used when I was younger. I remember the surge but not sure if it was the same formula I used. Pink cream, and I rather like it then. One thing about Clinique…their creams have got very attractive colors.

Ooh..I’ve heard a lot of raves about Blue Silk Cream. My sis showed me the website a couple of months back. Never got around to ordering a sample. Hehe…

For some reason, Clinique doesn’t suit all skin. It didn’t work for ParisB, but it worked tremendously for me. I, on the other hand, can’t seem to get Estee Lauder to work for me. Weird eh?

Hehe, oh thank goodness for you then. Clinique at Myer’s not doing any good gift-with-purchase promotions now (only an ugly-ass bag), even with Mother’s Day coming up, so I don’t see the point of paying AUD60 for something you can get cheaper elsewhere. So good for you for being good :p

Oh absolutely! I started using this in Malaysia actually, before I came here. As I slept in an air-conditioned room, I needed something to keep my skin hydrated without all that thick, icky feeling. This gel worked fine for me.

Do get it when there’s a good deal. It’s a pity the sales assistants in Malaysia are so stingy with free samples, or else you could give it a go first before forking out the money. What I’d do if I want to try out a particular skincare product (you can’t test skincare products at the counter; you have to try it out for a few days to see if it works out for you) but don’t want to pay that much money yet would be to check out eBay. A lot of sellers on eBay Malaysia unload their gift-with-purchase items there at a much lower price. Of course, you’d be looking at maybe only about 5ml of product (for that price, you can get a full bottle of a lower-end product), so it really is up to you. That was what I did with some Lancome products. Didn’t really suit me, so thank goodness I didn’t pay hundreds of ringgit for them.

It’s a love-hate thing, isn’t it? :p I’ve never tried Smashbox’s Photofinish Primer, but since you said it’s something like the moisture surge, then hmm it could be something I’d love to try out too!

I know a lot of people who loves this product and I know a lot who hated this!

I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!!! I’ve been using this for almost 3months now and gone are my dry flaky skin The finish is wonderful, not too oily and doesn’t get oily, actually, to be honest, it’s texture reminds me of the Smashbox Photofinish Primer
