Thank you for your review. It's very helpful. I haven't used EDM's flat top brush yet. I'm very interested in it though. The official website is currently out of stock now. I found another website seems carry the exact same brush. It's called Lovely Everything Flat Top brush. I wanna know have you tried that one, do you think they are the same?

I've bought the Long-Handled Kabuki from EDM, now I just need to know how to wash it properly... like, should i use shampoo or soap? Should i rub the soap/shampoo, throughly and then wash it all off, let it dry lying flat on a paper? or what? I really need help!

Thanks :P!

Indulgent Diva:
In that case, you got the bamboo-handled ones? Those are awesome!

Saito Florence:
I bought the eye kabuki a couple of weeks ago, and it arrived today, and it's gorgeous. Will be updating the blog soon after I try it out. EDM changed the handles to bamboo ones, which is great for the environment.

The only brush I bought from Signature Minerals is the Ultimate Kabuki and a black kabuki case. It's fabulously soft. I washed it twice before using it, and the hairs didn't shed. So far so good :) Haven't tried the rest yet.

As for Coastal Scents brushes, I've read negative reviews on it, as in it's cheaply made and sheds. But I can't be certain as I've never had a CS brush.

Saito Florence:
Hi there, thanks for dropping by :)

I've never had any problems with shedding with the EDM brushes. I did hear about the first generation brushes from EDM that shed, but the ones they sell now are very much improved. I would still recommend them :)

The other brushes I have and still use are the brushes by The Body Shop, which have great, value-for-money synthetic brushes. The ones I have are the older, natural-haired ones. I also have the pink makeup brush set by Elianto. The face/blush brush is great; very soft and don't shed. Unfortunately the rest are too sparse and don't apply well. That's it, I think :)
