Beauty Tip of the Day: Colour-Correcting Concealers

Beauty Tip NoteMyth: You need a tinted concealer to colour-correct certain flaws.

Truth: We can see why this seemed like a wicked-cool idea back in 1989, since the colour wheel, green does indeed cancel out red. On your face, however, without expert application, there’s a decent chance you’ll end up looking like the Incredible Hulk. And experts agree: the colour you want in a concealer is the one that most precisely matches your skin.

Dude, you know those green concealers…yeah wassup with that?

I mean, why would anyone wanna put something green on their faces?

    Constant Drama:
Okay, you know the colour wheel? Right opposite the colour red, is green. Green neutralises red. Unfortunately, this does not really work on your face (believe me, I’ve tried), especially on darker skin, as it would leave a funny ashy, minty spots on your your face. Best to just use regular concealer.
