A week ago, I was feeling awfully bored, and had the (mis)fortune of browsing Strawberrynet just for the heck of it. Out of nowhere, I suddenly had a craving for a really bright red lippie. So I thought, okay, I’d browse the Specials, and maybe there wouldn’t be anything there that would interest me, and I’d escape unscathed.
How wrong I was.
This came for me today.
I ordered two lippies off Strawberrynet – a Lancome Lip Dimension lip gloss in Hot Red, and a classic Christian Dior Rouge A Levres lipstick in, well, Classique (339).
I’m really digging the Red Hot. It’s super red, with pink tones. I’m thinking of wearing this colour to my cousin’s wedding in January, on her wedding reception in the evening. I don’t know … would it be too much?
I really like the classic look of the Christian Dior lipstick. It’s hexagonal in shape and looks so elegant. The texture is real creamy too, which I really like. The 339 Classique is a lovely coral.
The Lancome lipgloss cost me AUD16, whereas the Dior lipstick cost me AUD20. Not too bad, considering these are pretty decent lippies.

I had that Christian Dior lipstick some years ago. It’s a lovely color and I’ve always like their packaging.

Ooh I’ve started a love-affair with Red Lippies myself. I just used Benefit’s Frenched for a black-tie event. Now if only I had the time and energy to blog.. I have so many posts I want to put up!
Go for the red lippie, just use a liner under and a brush to apply. =)

And the lesson of the day is: do not, i repeat, DO NOT surf any online cosmetic stores when you’re bored! lol! I always end up wanting this and that!! Thank God most of them don’t ship to Malaysia! haha!! XD

I don’t use much from Lancome, or dior (except diorshow), haven’t tried the lippies, these colors are beautiful. I actually saw some Lancome lippies at TJ Maxx today for like $5, might have to go snatch a couple!!
I think bright red lip colour is sexxaayyy, I just don’t see how I can carry it off. It looked pretty on you though. I remember you wearing red lippie on Melbourne Cup day too?
It looks great on you:) I dunno somehow I am not very comfortable wearing red lipstick but I do wear it sometimes. Not everyone can carry off red lipstick.
