Rojak & Tapai:
Ah ha! That really annoys me too! When they point out to you that the items are on 50% discount when there already is a huge sign right in front of me! What I normally do when they tell me that is that I look at them right in the eye, and say a very curt "I know. It's right in front of me". That usually shuts them up for two seconds before they start going on about whether they can help me find my size or not. Sometimes I feel that the reason they're doing all this is so that we don't mess up their arrangement of stuff or else they'll have to do it all over again. Sigh.

When are sales assistants going to ever learn that the best way to keep a customer is to stop bugging them?!

Tine: Oh yes that part where they follow the customers annoy the heck out of me ..it just turns you off to browse around, doesnt it? I am also all about personal space..ever come across the same when you're at the lingerie section? Those ladies annoy me when they start latching on you like an unwanted shadow and worse they point out to you what those items are as if we're some sort of virginal women who just came out of the cave after a century of being locked in and not know what a bra or a pair of knicker look like and worse is when they say its discounted when WE KNOW IT IS because we see the boldly printed 50% discount on bras & panties in front of us! Makes me miss lingerie shopping at M&S

Rojak & Tapai:
See that's just how it works in Asia - really, I don't know who started that sort of customer service where it's okay to insult customers by pointing out how bad their skin is, just so they can promote their own goods. Or, to digress a little, to follow customers like a puppy dog when they're browsing. This is what I absolutely hate. I'm all about personal space, and I need mine. Geez. It really annoys me to no end.

Tine: Im trying to remember when I heard about this workshop but I know there was one and to know about it absolutely disappointed me :-(, I absolutely agree with 'shooting' that person hehehe ..i will never forget that time, one girl from Biotherm point blank telling me about my skin and I looked at her and walked away .. the nerve ..criticising my skin when hers were full of dark spots ... grrrrr i dont mind splurging but if such a product doesnt work can you guarantee me my money back? At least one Biotherm girl (from a different mall) was apologetic enough before saying my skin looks dry!

MisSmall:
I've always wanted to try the quad shadows, especially after the smokey eye one came out. Always been itching to buy a travel palette when I'm in between airports. For some reason I've always held back. And now I smack myself on the forehead for not buying it before. Tsk tsk.

About the skincare, I still find them a tad too rich for my skin. Honey, you and I aren't quite there yet, so we can hold out on the Chanel skincare products (lookit me bragging here. Tee hee!)

Fuzzkittie:
Ditto!

Nikki:
Aww thanks babes.

Geekchic:
Hah, see lah, didn't come with me, you didn't get :P Oh yeah, save for Chanel Pi instead. A much better *ahem* investment *ahem*

Ohmypetticoat:
The quad shadows are AU$98 each, and the Fluid Iridescent's AU$51.

Renee:
Yep will be doing a post on it with swatches and an FOTD as well :)

Syen:
Go get it! It's really good :) (And also to make me feel better for buying this :P)

Daphne:
Oh I know right? I thought she was real pretty too!

Have already emailed you on the sunscreen.

Miku:
Yay, I've converted another ;)

Gio:
Yep it is!

Rojak & Tapai:
Does that brand do workshops? Yeah I know about the text messages about latest promos. On one hand, I don't mind hearing about the latest sales, but the rest of the time it's just junk.

Yeah, I have an absolute revulsion for Malaysian beauty sales assistants who think that by telling me what crap skin I have, can be cured by their products. Seriously, the person who taught them to say this rubbish to customers should be shot.

Beetrice:
Eh go try Chanel, girl, you'll be converted.

Homespagoddess:
Yep I think so too!

Vicky:
You're not the only one. I was really tempted with the mirror too. It's fantastically angled in a way where applying makeup is so easy.

Lila:
Err so you're saying that if I wanna pay 20 bucks for Chanel, I can get it at that price?

How about getting it at the price you want rather than the price they decide? You can you know?

The quad looks pretty! I'm tempted. :D
And I'm liking that Chanel mirror they have. LOL. Weirdo. But it looks so shiny and pretty. Haha.
And that's definitely $50 well spent. ;)

Hello there! I'm new to your site and found it via google search when I was googling about Vitamin C!
Oh my gosh you lucky woman you for being able to attend that 2 hour workshop! Having lived in KL now for I think :D 5 years now I am very disappointed when I hear there's a makeup workshop I hear about it a wee bit too late!! Im not going to mention the Makeup brand i buy but ive registered myself the 1st time I bought their products they have my name in their database and still no invites for workshops! The only crap i get from them are sms-es of their latest promos!!

What a different attitude from the skincare and makeup sales assistants in Malaysia, where they’ll insult you point blank, and tell you how bad your skin is, just so they can introduce their skincare line to you which could, miraculously, make those skin problems disappear. Tsk tsk tsk.

How truly RIGHT you are!!! Not all are insulting but having come across a few of the SKINCARE dept I just find how lucky they are I was not in the mood of sharpening my claws with them. Thank goodness I found someone who finds the skincare so called consultant in Malaysia are not too seller-friendly and discreet with their so-called opinions :-D
Sorry for this long comment :-D but after finding your website Im ah gonna save this on my favorites!! Oh by the by thanks for the review on Ipanema's sandal (i know its a wee bit late) but after reading your review Im GOING to get a pair!
