Avon is a brand I often overlook. I guess it’s mainly because it’s not easily available (you either get it from their store, which there isn’t many, or through direct sales from their representatives). I was at one of their store with a girlfriend, when I stumbled upon their Ultra Moisture Rich lipsticks.
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how I impressed I was with them.
Description:
Luxurious moisture, super-saturated colour. Targets dryness with hydrosphere technology. Contains jojoba oil and vitamin A, C, and E.
The Ultra Moisture Rich lipsticks are sheer, but when layered, the effect is gorgeous shimmery lips. They also live up to their name; they glide on the lips very easily, and do not feel dry on the lips. The staying power is pretty standard like most lipsticks, where you have to reapply after meals.
The lippies I have are Pink and Metallic Pink.

Pink – subtle silvery shimmer on pink
Metallic pink – gold shimmer on pink, making it slightly peachy

Don’t be fooled by the word “metallic” into thinking that it’s going to be a lot of shine on the lips. The gold shimmer on the lips are subtle, but looks absolutely gorgeous. I reckon it goes very well with NARS Deep Throat blush, or Loreal’s Blush Delice in Rosy Cheeks.
As far as Avon lipsticks go, I’d highly recommend this range. Wouldn’t bother with their Pro-To-Go lippies though. The texture’s too drying on the lips.
I’m definitely getting more of these Avon lipsticks the next time I’m back in Malaysia (they cost around RM25 per tube; not sure if it’s available in Avon Australia though).

The colors are great, the shimmer in the metallic one makes the pink look a bit coral!
surprisingly the shimmer shows up so little on the lips.i bet my mom is going to like this shade. must tell her see whether she can find in avon or not.

I personally like (most) Avon lipsticks. They are really cheap and surprisingly good. Even their glosses are fantastic. The only Lipstick I got from Avon which I did not like was their Ultra Rich Mousse range. That one was drying.
Avon got the best lippie around for the price. It’s unbeatable! I love mine!

I came here for the lipstick swatches, but typed this note because you really should watch that “beauty mark”. I have many moles and most the doctors said were perfectly fine. I insisted that a few be removed and virtually all of them were precancerous! Yours is much darker; it might be melanoma. Get it checked!
