hello! thanks for this post. i rarely leave comments on blogs but i chanced upon this post at the right time. i’m starting my own blog and am afraid i’ll get negative comments. but thanks for sharing. i’ll know that there are evil people out there and how to deal with them – IGNORE! =)

Hi, I started a blog not long ago and today I received a comment on one of my posts from an ex neighbour who hated us. She must have noticed our yard on one of my posts. Anyway, she obviously read all my posts and posted a comment along the lines of “now you’re pregnant I hope you have better neighbours than we did – partying all night; namely you and your partner” in a more loaded manner.

Anyway this is the first negative comment I’ve received and I’m really annoyed as she left the comment anonymously.

Your post is a great help and I am really trying to take it lightly but it hurts and I am livid!

Thanks for the post it really has eased my frustration somewhat!

Hi! Very nice post. When I first started my fashion blog, I got a few very hurtful comments. But I used it as a content for my article whilst being a guest blogger on a fashion website. Since then, I’ve got consistent readers for my blog. Haha! Talking about taking positivity out of negativity.

Having read your blog on a regular basis, I think that what u have here is a great blog. The whoever that gave negative comments is obviously jealous or having some unsorted issues in his/her life and want to find a channel to lash out or vent their anger/dissapointment.

Well said Tine, I agree with what you say here. Just ignore them ..if they want to voice out their views ..then have some guts and put your name, email address and website so you can voice out what you think but not stoop to their level of posting flaming comments. *Applause to you*

i completely agree…..u just have to take the good in with the bad…i love my blog its new but its my baby…u should never take hate messages to heart…its always from ppl who are intimidated by you in some way…
