Thinking About My Bits

Forgive me for thinking aloud, but if I’m adamant on not using fragranced feminine wash products, and only use fragrance-free and soap-free gentle wash for my, err, bits, then … why the heck am I using fragranced toilet paper?!

Hmm … what do you think? Would it make a difference? Would using scented loo paper affect the va-jay-jay? Do you use scented loo paper?

I doubt i’d bother to use scented toilet paper. I’ve used scented panty liners once though. no negative reactions but I haven’t bought another pack since. just in case.

Nope, am always using unscented. In fact, when buying the toilet roll, I always look for those unbleached and un”brightened” I’ve heard that there are some manufacturer do add additional chemicals to make the toilet roll appear whiter n brighter 😛

a friend of mine had some V infection..so when she went to the doctor, the doctor advised her NOT to use any feminine wash or wipe in future, just use normal water to clean..so does it mean that feminine wash is bad too?

Not much of a difference either way but I don’t like scented stuff around my bits. Its like that part in “Vagina Monologues” where the vagina wants to smell like vagina, not “fresh forest”.

I do know people who are allergic to scent there though.

i tend to avoid anything artificially scented.. once tried a “shower fresh” scented panty liner and it gave me an itch that lasted for days! never again!

scented products make me itch, regardless of where they’re used (how fun for me xD)
downstairs I mostly use biodegradable products (NatraCare), coz they’re better for the ‘flora’ apparently, and a lot easier on the environment. Specially pads which often have been bleached and stuff would not be great for miss VJJ, and would probably take a thousand years for the environment to ‘process’ afterwards. Anyways me and my mum have seen a big improvement in terms of comfort and smell
I think that if someone uses non-biodegradable panty liners and tampons, maybe scented toilet paper wouldnt make that big a difference? I’m not sure
