I am a huge fan of Sex and the City. HUGE. I’ve watched every episode of the entire series at least three times, and goodness knows how many times I’ve rewatched the movie. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but hey, blame my dad for introducing the show to me 😛 He sent me (I was in the UK then) four sets of VCDs, from Season 1 to 4. Bless that man. I even, erm, had an envelopeful of magazine clippings about the show. Obsessed much?

So you can imagine my utter excitement at the upcoming second SATC movie.

In preparation of the launch of SATC 2, Sarah Jessica Parker has made the front cover of the May issue of US Vogue.

I really like this dress, especially the colour.

Here are some highlights from the article about SJP about the upcoming movie.

The upcoming Sex and the City sequel: “We four women, despite I guess what a lot of people hope, have never been better. This movie—and maybe it’s because we actually lived together—it was the best! We were together all day long, at night, in the restaurants, in our hotels. It was wonderful.”

Sex and the City getting older: “We’re still playing—uh, I don’t know how old Carrie is! Is she about 42 now? I think Carrie’s younger than I [Parker is 45], and Miranda and Charlotte are younger than they are in real life. Samantha was always the older lady, so she’s 52 now and talks a lot about what comes with that. In the movie. Talks about menopause. Comedically.”

From the trailer, the movie looks promising. As excited as I am, I’m just trying to not put THAT much hope into it, just in case it doesn’t deliver like the first one. But you all know I’m lying.

So who’s your favourite SATC character, if you’re into the show like I am? Majority of women seems to like Carrie, but I’m so into Miranda. I adore her cynicism, bite and ginger hair 😛
