I salute the people of Demeter who could come up with all sorts of scents and fragrances. Just how the heck do you capture the smell of rain? Or mildew?!
I’m very tempted to get some Demeter scents, but to have to pay US$40 worldwide shipping fee for a bottle of mildew stink … really got to think about it.
Still, here are some of the ones which tickled my fancy. Some literally gave me the giggles. The smell of a thunderstorm in a bottle, anyone?

now u got me interested in the smell of dirt / dust, how the heck exactly dust smell like?! …..gosh! i can imagine the smell of crayon tho 😛
I wouldn’t mind smelling like Rain! But dust? and clean windows? Very ODD selection of scents indeed! Then again, I can understand it.

They are hilarious….Mildew? Mushroom? DIRT?! Their “fragrances” are more like arty alchemy….Love them though! I think Scottish Shortbread is the most wearable scent in this photo spread…
I’ve actually smelt some of these – I think they were in DJs years ago. It’s crazy to admit, but they smell EXACTLY the same as their namesakes – Rain smells like rain, Dirt smells like dirt – there’s even one that is called Laundry and it DOES smell like fresh laundry!! Weird!
I love that they have ranges for Jelly Belly and Hersheys – just in case you want to smell like candy 🙂
