A Cheapie Gem That Is Nature’s Care Paw Paw Lip Balm

Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm

Don’t you just love random cheapie purchases that just makes you go, “Wow! Why didn’t I try that out sooner?” That’s what this lip balm was like for me. During my usual pilgramage to my beauty mecca, Priceline, I saw a box of the pink tubes at the checkout counter. I need a new lip balm like I do a third nipple, but what the heck, eh?

Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm Ingredients

Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm

Remember how I raved about the Lucas Papaw Ointment? Well, this one’s similar, but in a more conveniently-shaped and sized tube. This also contains no petrolatum, which the Lucas one has. It has a sweet fragrance and taste that some might find a tad cloying. It doesn’t bother me.

Nature's Care Paw Paw Lip Balm

In short, I love it. It keeps my lips well-hydrated, and it’s a good base for lippies. I have this on my bedside table and swipe it on my lips just before bed. Like the Lucas papaw ointment, it’s really hard to squeeze the goo out of the tube when it’s cold. Sometimes I feel as though the tube would burst on me, just so I could get that lip balm out. However, during the hot summer months, it just oozes out like clear jelly.

For something under 4 bucks, well, it’s a keeper. Did I also mention it’s pink? πŸ˜›

I absolutely adore Priceline and can’t wait for my trip to Sydney now πŸ™‚ I used Lucas Paw Paw before but didn’t find it particularly effective on my dry lips. I am definitely gonna pick up Nature’s Care version because the pink packaging is too adorable.

Sesame: Haha I thought you might like it too! Want me to send one over to you? Happy to do so; it’s not expensive anyway πŸ™‚

Looking good! I really like the Lucas PaPaw balm that I use for my lips. The only problem is that when its warm, it turns into liquid. I prefer chilling it a bit or after the room air conditioning has been turned on for a while when it comes out an opaque gel. I wonder if this does the same. I’m not so fussed about ingredients as you can probably tell πŸ™‚

Paris B: Hahaha mine is the other way round. It’s so freakin’ hard that I’m afraid the sealed back might burst on me every time I try pushing the gel out of the tiny hole πŸ˜›
I actually find the papaw ointment good for cold sores and cracked lips when heaty.

Beetrice: Hahaha this is only but a tiny item, won’t take up space or weight. As for the rest, erm, I think perhaps I should prepare the box for your after all πŸ˜‰

Jyoan: I think it’s very much an Aussie thing, this papaw ointment. I haven’t seen it at all when I was living in Malaysia. When I came to Australia, it seemed as though everyone was raving about the red Lucas tube, and I knew I just had to give it a go to see what the fuss was all about. This I can say, it does not at all taste like papayas πŸ˜›

Ooh, I just got this last week too. It works a little bit better than Lucas (tends to dry me out after a while) and is way prettier too. =D

    1. Tine

Eli: Yay! Definitely looks better than the Lucas one, right? And more purse-friendly too πŸ™‚

  7. Issa

the packaging is nice! πŸ™‚ good to hear the product works too πŸ™‚

Issa: Cute, right? And it’s pink too. I was sold πŸ˜›

Can you use it for cold sore?

    1. Tine

I’ve applied this on cold sores without any problems. It does soothe cold sores, but it doesn’t get rid of them though.
