English Ladybird-ish Nails

by Tine on May 28, 2012

No, I did not just attempt nail art again, did I? Well, at least this time, it’s not too much of a mess, and I’m rather proud of my simple work :D

Endota Spa nail polish in Chadstone, Bloom nail polish in Sass & Bide I, Tom Ford Estee Lauder Collection The Lacquer in 01 Coquillee

I had a hard time coming up with a name for these nails, and the most I could come up with was “ladybird-ish” nails. It does remind me a little of the Ladybird children’s books I used to read when I was a child. Along with the rather English colours, I think it looks quite pretty.

Next time, I might even attempt free-form drawing. If my shaky hands can handle it, that is ;)

I agree with Xin, this is a neat job and I love the combination!!! It looks like a nail art that has been done by professional! :)

Joy: Thanks Joy! It’s more of a teal than the blue you see in the pictures, which is even better ;)

Gio: Thanks Gio. I was worried about painting the second layer on half the nail, especially in getting the line as straight as possible. >.<
