Just a quick one today, given that I’m kinda in a holiday mood even though tomorrow’s Melbourne Cup has nothing to do with me 😛

If you’re in Melbourne today, head down to Federation Square for manicures by Sally Hansen. Like last year, they’ve set up a mobile manicure booth at Fed Square for anyone game for a quick manicure.

The only charge per manicure is a gold coin donation to Look Good Feel Good (a free community service program dedicated to helping Australians cope with the appearance related side-effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy such as hair loss and changes to the skin). A great initiative for an important cause, and you get swell-looking nails. Win!

The mobile manicure booth will be at Fed Square till this Thursday. Best to go early to avoid the queues (it’s very popular!). The booth is white and orange, so you can’t miss it. Oh, and do remember to head to the back of the booth where you’ll see nail polishes on shelves. Every nail polish on display has a card that tells you the name of the nail polish. If you look at the back of the card, it’s actually a coupon for 25% Sally Hansen products. 😉
