I love embellished and beaded accessories! I remember I had a moment once (ok, it lasted a few months) where I was so sure I would make my own and sell them… Then I realised I can’t see for c**p and gave up lol!

Me too! I have a few tops that have gorgeous embellishments. After a few wears, I noticed some beads missing. They’re so pretty but so very delicate 🙁
Yea, I feel so sayang to see the beads go…and the beaded article would be left unworn coz it just looks too wonky..:(
I know what you mean. For one of the tops, I had to remove one side of the beads to match the missing beads on the other side. I had no choice if I wanted to wear the top again. Sigh.
I know what you’re saying…I do the same too, but having ungraceful fingers, I sometimes would end up taking a little too much off 🙁 I wonder how some women can keep their sequinned dresses so well maintained. I have a Punjabi suit that I love and some of the sequins started missing…now it’s just in the closet and I only wear them if there is a realllly important function to go to.
I read a good tip about keeping embellishments intact, and that’s to apply a tiny amount of clear nail polish over the thread and holes to keep them together. Sounds like a good idea 🙂
