Happy weekend fellow beautyholics!
Now I know that in many parts of the world, it’s autumn to almost winter but Down Under, we’re heading towards summer so don’t be surprised to see me talking about bright summery colours while you’re enjoying your warm knits and shades of burgundy. 😛
Me, I love insanely bright nails for summer and while I’m the boring sort who probably won’t wear fluoroscent nails, I do like me a bright candy pink. And that’s what Maybelline’s Color Show in Pink Shock is.
The photos above don’t really paint (ouch!) a good picture of what the colour actually is. It looks like cherry red in the images but when the nail polish is applied on the nails, what you get is a hit of hot pink jelly that’s just lovely. It has a slightly watery texture, which makes it easy to apply without any dragging or leaving streaky marks on the nails.
A shocking pink that’s insane in the membrane? Yeah, this would be it. LOVE.

Hi Tine, this shade is beautiful! I’m going to be tracking it down and certainly sporting it this summer. I think it would also make a fab pedi shade, peeking out from some white sandals or peep toe shoes, or plain thongs/flip flops!
