A month ago, when I received an invitation to see Eva Longoria in person, I did a bit of a silent scream. And then I Instagrammed the invitation because like they say, if it’s not on Instagram, did it really happen? 😉

Anyway, so there I was yesterday, traipsing along Collins St in my silly high heels and stupid staticky dress that stuck to me like glue, heading up to Rialto Towers with my camera trying to be all “look at me, I’m a professional blogger with my camera” when I very almost fell flat on my face on the shiny lobby floor due to said silly heels. Ahem. Moving on.

It was cocktail hour at Vue de Monde and about 30 minutes later, Megan Gale (gorgeous and glowing in Alex Perry) started the ball rolling. After an introduction to L’Oreal and half of its international ambassadors, she introduced Eva Longoria. Yeah, like she needs introducing, right?

Ms Eva (I feel weird calling her Eva or Ms Longoria) was absolutely stunning in person. So many people asked me if she really was very tiny and, erm, she is. A very beautiful tiny though, if there’s such a thing. Her personality was booming (she was the first to clap at almost everything) and her laughter so infectious. Ms Eva is one of the longest serving ambassador for L’Oreal ever since she signed on with them in 2005. That’s almost 10 years!

The meet-and-greet between Megan Gale and Ms Eva went on for about 20 minutes but I can’t remember much of what was said because I was too busy gaping at her like a lovesick fan and taking ridiculous amount of photos of her like a crazy-ass pap. At one point, I could swear she was smiling directly at me. No really! Okay okay, she was probably smiling at someone else. Still, a girl could dream.

It was a short but fun evening and I shall always remember the evening where I met Ms Eva Longoria and she very almost smiled at me*. 🙂
