Oh man, do you know how long I’ve been waiting for this to be launched in Australia? I keep seeing this on British beauty blogs and YouTube channels, and all I could think of was “I NEED ME A PIECE OF THAT”. When I finally saw it at my local The Body Shop, I snapped it up pronto.
Oh my, this smells absolutely divine. It doesn’t even look like the body scrubs I’m used to. This looks and feels exactly like jam. It even comes with the kernel bits from the fruit! If you jiggle the jar, the scrub will jiggle like jam. It doesn’t feel harsh at all on the skin and after my shower, my skin feels good enough to eat.
Speaking of which, this is, of course, inedible. No matter how much you want to try. Trust me, I know. It tastes absolutely disgusting, by the way. 😛
The Raspberry range is a limited edition one, so I suggest you not to walk but run to your nearest The Body Shop and check it out asap! They’ve also reduced their prices across the entire brand (on average, their products in Australia are now about 20% cheaper) so this comes in a good time. The body scrub retails at AU$23.95 for 200ml.

I haven’t bought anything from The Body Shop in forever, but you got me with this gorgeous raspberry scrub. It does look just like the raspberry jam that I make myself. I am hoping that it’s sold in the US stores, too!

I hear that UK has already released a Blueberry range. As usual, we’ll have to wait months before we get it. Hopefully you guys don’t have to wait that long.
I haven’t tried this .. hmm, may have to take a walk on one of my lunch hours to the Body Shop to pick this up!

Awesome! Have you tried the body butter? Smells good too! I didn’t get it because it’s just a tad too sweet for me but it still smells pretty good. 🙂
Yes, love the body butters .. the strawberry one smells divine! However, my Body Shop didn’t have the strawberry scrub .. grrr. It was too crowded to ask the SA about the scrub, so I’ll have to go another time.

LOL! You are brave for tasting it!! I have the blueberry version which was LE in Japan but no sign of the Raspberry range here so Oz is not the slowest in getting new products 😉 I did buy the 30ml EDT in Singapore but was a little underwhelmed. I think the scrub is prob a different experience and slightly different scent. For some brands/products, I do find that scents between types of products (although in the same range) could be different. I love Philosophy’s Pink Almond Candy body lotion but the shower gel was just a little on the meh side.

We only just got the Raspberry range so I reckon it’ll be a while before we get the Blueberry one. I’d really love to get that one because I adore blueberries. I’ve tried the Raspberry body butter and while it’s lovely on the skin, I found the scent a tad too sweet for my liking. The scrub on the other hand is just nice.
