Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion: The Body Lotion That Literally Smells Of Nothing

Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion

I haven’t reviewed a body moisturiser for quite some time now. It’s not that I haven’t used any (I use them twice a day after my shower), but I haven’t discovered any really worth mentioning. That was until a few weeks ago. The funny thing is that it’s possibly the most nondescript and, to be honest, boring body lotion I’ve ever used and yet I absolutely love it!

A few weeks ago, just before Christmas, I accidentally burned my arm while cooking. It wasn’t just a bad burn but a big one (almost 2 inches long and 1 inch wide). I couldn’t use any of my current body lotions because I was afraid they would affect the burned area. I decided to search my beauty cupboard and I stumbled upon this body lotion. I finally gave it a go and a few weeks later, it’s also the only body lotion I’ve been using, not because the burned area needed it (it’s healed now) but because it’s such a winner in my book.

You know how we sometimes wax lyrical about how good a beauty product (particularly a body care product) smells? This time, I’m going to tell you why I like this body lotion so much. It doesn’t smell of anything. Yes it’s fragrance-free but there are plenty of fragrance-free beauty products out there that still has a scent to it, subtle or not. This body lotion has no scent. You can’t smell a thing! I thought I’d discover a good fragrance-free body lotion when I tried the Jergens Daily Moisture Dry Skin Moisturiser and while it’s not a bad body lotion at all, it still has a subtle scent to it. I couldn’t smell anything different with this body lotion on.

I have a keen sense of smell and can smell distinct scents that a lot of people can’t. Even so I cannot smell anything different when I apply this body lotion on my skin. I could still smell a hint of my shower gel but no body lotion. What’s so good about it then, just because it really is fragrance-free? This makes the body lotion perfect to be used with perfume because it will not clash with any fragrance I use on me.

Other than the lack-of-scent, it’s lightweight, easily absorbed and oil-free. In fact, you can even use this as your face moisturiser without any issues. It’s great for dry and sensitive skin. This won’t be rich enough for use in winter but summer months, this is a godsend.

Physiogel Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion

So if you’re looking for a fragrance-free body lotion that really is free of any scent whatsoever, I highly recommend this body lotion. Finally, a product that well and truly smells of nothing. How about that?

Physiogel’s Daily Moisture Therapy Lotion retails at AU$16.99 for 200ml and AU$23.99 for 400ml, and is available at Priceline pharmacies nationwide.

What I like about it: When they say it’s fragrance-free, it really is. It doesn’t smell of anything! It’s also lightweight, oil-free and easily absorbed onto the skin.

What I do not like about it: Nothing

Have you tried this or any other truly fragrance-free beauty product before?

Wow I’m surprised it just smells like nothing? I think it would be great to use if you want to wear a light or fresh perfume 🙂

I don’t smell a thing! It’s really strange. I’ve asked around and they don’t smell a thing with this body lotion. It’s great for migraine days and pregnant women too who just can’t stand the smell of most things. 😛

Sounds like a great product! I never understood why people were so caught up on the smell of makeup and skincare products. That was until I recently got an eye serum that smells SO BAD!!

Oh I’m definitely one of those people! 😛 I suggest going to Priceline and checking out Indeed Labs’ Pepta-Bright. Just the tester I mean. Geez Louise, it stinks. I thought I was the only who thought so but when I checked for reviews, SO MANY people complained about how bad it smells!

I however like to use body lotion as my scent- love Body Shop’s coconut body milk that is only an ok moisturiser but smells like s tropical holiday and thus an instant mood booster

Oh but of course! I like that too. It’s just one of those days when I’m probably having my period and cannot stand any strong smells that this body lotion would work a treat.
Aww I love instant mood booster scents! <3
