Head (And Eyes!) Over Heels In Love With The LORAC Pro Eyeshadow Palette

LORAC Pro Eyeshadow Palette

Next to the Urban Decay NAKED eyeshadow palettes, the LORAC Pro palettes are probably the most talked about eyeshadows on the beauty blogosphere and YouTube-land in the past year or so. It seems like every blogger and her mother has one of ’em palettes. But is that going to stop me from talking about here on BA?

Uh duh, you’re reading this post now, aren’t you? 😛

What Would You Do: Excuse Me While I Check Out The Rest Of Your Phone’s Photos

What would you do: Excuse Me While I Check Out The Rest Of Your Phone's Photos

© ponsulak

I haven’t done a What Would You Do segment in a while and after watching a particular video on the subject a few days ago, I thought I might bring it up on the blog today and ask what you would do if you’re in a similar situation.

Don’t worry, it’s nothing sinister but it happens more often than you think. It’s about your phone and the photos you took with it. And no, I’m not talking about nude photos. 😛

Talking Scents: Hermès Un Jardin Sur Le Toit

Talking Scents: Hermès Un Jardin Sur Le Toit

I first had a whiff of the Un Jardin Sur Le Toit during one of my rare trips to Hermès on Collins St. It’s a part of the collection from the garden-inspired fragrances Un Jardin. Un Jardin Sur Le Toit or “A Garden on the Roof” refers to the luxurious garden located on the roof of the Hermès headquarters at 24 Rue Faubourg Saint-Honore in Paris.

Of course, I’ve never been to that rooftop (I’ve only had a chance to see a hint of the roof with the iconic flags that are actually Hermès’ iconic scarves) but I’ve seen pictures and boy, it’s lovely. You can check out what it looks like here.

Nourish Your Tresses With Argan Oil, No Matter What Season It Is (Including A Giveaway At The End!)

THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING!

Sydney

Many of you would have noticed that a few months ago, I chopped my hair off. It’s not a big deal to some but to me, it was. I’ve had the same long and wavy hairstyle for the past 7 years and I barely made any changes to it because I figured it was simply easier to maintain. On bad hair days, I could just tie it up or make it into a loose bun. On good hair days (which were seldom), I’d leave it hanging loosely on my shoulders.

The problem with my hair is, it’s very thick. Each strand of hair is wiry, coarse and uneven. My hair is very dry and incredibly prone to frizz. The only way I could make it look relatively presentable when I step out of my house is to use a flat iron on it. Each time I wash my hair, I iron it the next morning.

So you can imagine what sort of quality my hair has turned into all these years. It’s not only straightened every other day, it’s coloured too. If hair could talk, I imagine mine would be screaming “LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!“.
