L'Oreal Color Riche Extraordinaire Lip Lacquers

Welcome to another segment of Read My Lips! Today I’ll be showing you 5 new lip lacquers from L’Oreal and I must say, they’re pretty darn good.

At first and quick glance, the Colour Riche Extraordinaire lip lacquers look a little similar to YSL’s Glossy Stains especially the area where you can see the colour of the lip lacquer. What you see in the Extraordinaire isn’t actually a “window” to the actual product but some sort of sticker or painted on colour. I’d say that’s where the similarity ends.

There are 14 shades in the range but for now, I’ll just be showing you five.

One of my guilty pleasures on YouTube is browsing videos on what people carry in their bags. I find what people carry in their bags highly fascinating. Tells you a lot about a person too, y’know, when you see what they bring around with them when they’re out.

I wonder what mine tells about me. 😛

Speaking of which, I haven’t done an updated version of What’s In My Bag in a year now so I thought oh why not? I have a feeling I’m not the only one with a sticky beak here. Right? *wink wink*

Let me just start of by saying two things. Firstly, I actually received this months ago but only started using this about 7 weeks ago purely because I couldn’t bear to take it out of the box. The box it came in, the packaging … oh it’s gorgeous. Unfortunately, I accidentally damaged the box just before photographing the serum for this review (sigh, don’t ask. My heart breaketh over cardboard) so you’ll just have to check it out in store to know what it is that I’m actually talking about. And I lost the photos I took of the ingredients* list. ARGH.

Secondly, and I believe we really should get this out of the way first because it is Tom Ford after all and you know that it’s going to cost a bomb. And it does. A whopping AU$325.00.

But wait! Don’t let the price tag turn you off just yet because if you are looking for that luxurious, silky smooth, absolutely divine dry face oil, this is it. The Intensive Infusion Concentrate Extreme is the one.

Happy hump day, folks!

I’ve been thinking a lot about affiliate networks and affiliate links lately and rather than just do my usual nightly brain dump on my notebook and husband, I thought I’d do a bit of my brain dump here as well.

I’d to talk about affiliate links today. In fact, I’d love your opinions on affiliate links, both as a blogger and as a reader because it doesn’t only affect our blogs, it affects our readers as well.

As a blogger, do you disclose your affiliate links in every blog post that contain them? Or do you disclose the fact that you have affiliate links in your Disclosure/Disclaimer page but don’t disclose them at the beginning/end of each post?

As a reader, does it bother you if the blogger doesn’t disclose affiliate links in each of those blog posts but he/she discloses them in their Disclosure/Disclaimer page? Is that enough for you?
