Nailing It: ORLY Baked Collection Nail Polish in Neon Heat

ORLY Baked Collection Nail Polish in Neon Heat

Now you know me, it can be smack middle of winter and I’ll still be rocking neon nails. The concept of dark colours for winter never really sat well with me. For goodness’ sake, it’s already cold and dreary enough, why would I want to put more dark colours on? Amiright?

Screw winter, I’m putting on bright colours! On my nails, at least. 😛

Anyway, today I’d like to show you a gorgeous neon pink that isn’t just cheery for winter, it’s going to be perfect for summer too. It’s part of ORLY’s Baked collection and it’s called Neon Heat. It’s a stunning fuschia creme and when it’s on the nails, they look like gel nail polish.

2014: My Midyear Stocktake

2014: My Midyear Stocktake

Now that we’ve entered the second half of the year, I thought it’s a good time to do a bit of a midyear “stocktake” of what’s been going on during the first half of 2014. SUQQU Balancing Cheek Blush in 02 Usuzakura

When I was in Japan, the only luxury brand I was interested in checking out was SUQQU. The sales assistants at the SUQQU counter were lovely and helped me out with my selection of items to purchase. Since I picked up a couple of items, one of the sales assistants asked if I wanted a makeover just so I could try out some of the products they had. I quickly said yes. She did such a good job in enticing me with the products she used on me because right after the makeover, I picked up the blush she used on me as well. It was really hard to say no, especially after the fantastic service I received. You could say I got suckered into it, which I gladly was. 😛
