Boost Your Body Moisturiser with Unwanted Facial Serum

Aurora Spa Rituals Ultra Body Moisturiser and Aldi Lacura Revive Hyaluronic Gel

Come with me, let’s have a chat about your body lotions, creams and butters. How are they doing for you? Good? Need just that extra bit of oomph? Want more hydration in your skin this winter? I have tip to show you that can change. Your. Life.

Ahem. I sound like the Home Shopping Network channel, don’t I? ๐Ÿ˜›

Seriously though, I do have a tip for you and although it probably wouldn’t change your life, it might help your skin out just a bit more than just your body moisturisers can. You know that bottle of face serum that broke you out? What did you do with it? Is it sitting at the back of your cupboard/beauty graveyard somewhere? As long as you didn’t chuck it, here’s what you can do without wasting a drop of it.

I Hauled A Bit of Japan Back and It Was Good!

Japan Haul

One of the things I love about travelling to Japan is shopping for beauty products. Actually, make that shopping in general. Asian cosmetics are ridiculously overpriced in Australia and when you finally see your favourite Japanese brands selling fabulous makeup for less than AU$20 (a lot even less than AU$10) each, it’s no wonder why it becomes some sort of supermarket sweep.

I find it incredibly hard to resist shops like Matsumoto Kiyoshi and Segami. These are drugstores that sell the major beauty brands Shiseido, Kanebo, Kose and so on (with plenty of smaller brands under those umbrella ones). I highly prefer them to Sephora (cue gasps!) because the choices are endless. You’d want to put everything you see into your shopping cart, I can guarantee you that.

As usual, my disclaimer is that this haul is not meant to brag, show off … all that jazz. You know what I mean. ๐Ÿ™‚

Read My Lips: Bourjois Shine Edition in #20 1, 2, 3 Soleil

Bourjois Shine Edition in #20 1, 2, 3 Soleil

As much as I enjoy Bourjois’ foundations (especially the Healthy Mix Serum), I must say that their lipsticks normally elude me. I don’t know what they’re like yet for some unknown reason, I’ve never been compelled to give them a try. So why the Shine Edition? Why this one?

To tell you the truth, I simply got sucked in by the fluorescent orange packaging. It’s funny because bright packaging like this normally turn me off but for some reason, my eyes just fell on it and my brain told me to try it out. First swatch on the back of my hand at Priceline didn’t turn out bad so I figured oh, why not?

Happy Friday folks!

I just got back from Japan yesterday and let me tell you, what a relief it was to sleep in my bed again. You know how it is; you can have an awesome holiday, which was what I had, but at the end of the day, you just want your bed. And stinky pillow/bolster. No? Just me? Alrighty then. ๐Ÿ˜›

Nagasaki Peace Park

Ahh what a fabulous holiday it was. If you’ve been following me on Instagram and Twitter (hashtag: #tinetravels), you’ll have seen some of my holiday photos. I ate a lot, walked a lot, saw a lot and shopped a whole lot. Tim and I almost bought the Uniqlo store back with us no thanks to their amazing sales. ๐Ÿ˜‰
