When I read Dani’s post, Up My Own Ass, a few months ago, I couldn’t help but feel her blogging frustration. It was as though she had taken the words right out of my mouth.

How many times have we worked so hard on our blog posts, researched the heck out of it, taken the best pictures we could, wrote the best we did, all in hopes that they will be well-received and that it will drive traffic into our blogs in big waves?

Instead, the reaction was abysmal. You get maybe 2-3 comments on the post you worked so bloody hard on. So where’s the traffic? Where are the comments?

Don’t you just love random cheapie purchases that just makes you go, “Wow! Why didn’t I try that out sooner?” That’s what this lip balm was like for me. During my usual pilgramage to my beauty mecca, Priceline, I saw a box of the pink tubes at the checkout counter. I need a new lip balm like I do a third nipple, but what the heck, eh?

Sally Hansen came up with the first nail stickers I knew. I remembered when I first saw them many months ago, I couldn’t get over how cute they were. So I bought a couple of boxes to try. Later on, I was kindly given a few more boxes to try. This was months ago. Up till last week, I haven’t even opened any of them! What’s that now? Bad beauty blogger? Yes yes I know 😉
