Thanks very much for participating in the Face of Australia Barbados Giveaway! I’m so glad I went the best creative answer way because I didn’t know how creative a lot of you are. A number of you even wrote poems about your favourite nail polish. Seriously, people, my hat’s off to you. I was très impressed!
As this isn’t a giveaway where I choose a winner at random, it was really difficult coming up with the winner as so many of you had such good answers. After much deliberation, I’m glad to announce the winning entry:
I see lots of entries rhyming,
But my mind seems to be stuck,
Doesn’t matter anyway,
Cause my rhyming really sucks. So here’s the thing I want to say,
About my favourite polish,
I don’t bother much with lacquer,
Cos I tend to paint and demolish. But when I did take the time,
To paint my nails a certain hue,
I’d lean towards the gothic,
Only the darkest shades would do.So, I’m entering with the thought,
I might win some for my daughter,
Maybe she will share them with me,
Like a caring daughter, oughta.
CONGRATULATIONS RONI JEAN!
Please email me your contact details within the next 3 days. They will be given to Face of Australia, who will be sending out the prize to you 🙂

When I first received these in the mail, I literally gasped how at beautiful they look in the oval bottles, especially the one in dark pink. The glitter and flakes look like, as the name would have it, gems in a glass bottle.
To be honest, I’m not really a fan of glittery nail polish. Some can look very dirty on the nails. And don’t get me started on what a pain in the behind they are to remove. But for the Gem Crush, I made an exception because once I swatched them on my nails, my fingers look like a whole lotta bling, and somehow, I like it 😉
There are 8 colours in the range, and today, I’m going to show you two, which are Big Money and Lady Luck.

Happy Hump Day, folks!
I haven’t done this in a while, so I thought I’d open the floor to you once more. For those of you who are here for the first time, welcome to Beautyholics Anonymous! I hope you like what you see, and stay on for a drink or two 🙂
Ask Me Anything is a short segment of, well, ask me anything! If you have any questions about anything, beauty or blogging related, feel free to shoot me those Qs. If you feel like a chat, come in for a virtual cuppa and I’ll have one with you. It’s your call. Tell me what you’ve had for lunch. Did you buy anything new? Go ahead and share them with us!
If the questions are blogging related, it helps me tremendously in writing my Bloggie Wednesdays series, which I have thoroughly enjoyed.
Fire away! 😀
