Like Face of Australia, SAX Cosmetics is another drugstore brand I’m very impressed with, especially with their lip makeup. It goes to show that good quality makeup need not come with a high pricetag.
I recently had the opportunity to try out a couple of nail polishes from SAX Cosmetics. When I first opened the package, I gasped, especially at how beautiful No.54 is.

Today I thought I’d use my favourite eye makeup shade – green. To be honest, I’m not particularly keen on the colour in general, but when it comes to eye makeup, I find that green eyeshadows tends to make dark brown eyes pop.
By the way, this is my second attempt at trying out this look. I had to do a practice run the day before to make sure I get it right 😛
Oh I’ve been there. We’ve all been there. The frustration of staring at the computer monitor and no words come out. My worst hit was mid last year, when I was so out of blogging mojo that I blogged a maximum of 3 times a month.
It happens to the best of us. Blogger’s block is something a lot of us face from time to time. The most important thing is not to let it get to you so much that you give up and stop blogging altogether. To be honest, I very almost did.

What makes a great eyebrow?
Well, for me, it’s about working with a client’s natural shape and what’s going to suit their face. Some therapists feel the need to do too much to the brow and take too much off. I suspect they feel that if they don’t take a lot of hair away then they haven’t done their job.
The trick is to craft a brow that works with what that brow wants to do! It doesn’t matter if you like a subtle or more accentuated arch or what your taste it’s about working with what you have and embracing it! A basic brow can really look both natural and amazing with just a little expert assistance.
