Happy new year folks!
As I said goodbye to 2014, I can’t help but feel mighty excited for what 2015 will bring. I don’t know what it’ll be year so I say bring it on! I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, 2015 is going to be my year. Year of awesomeness. And I’m going to say that it’s going to be YOUR year too.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for being such awesome readers and for supporting me and Beautyholics Anonymous all year. Whenever I was having a low moment of self-pity (yeah I do get those woe-is-me, first world problems. Tsk tsk), I thought of how supportive and encouraging y’all were and I picked myself back up. I don’t know what I did to deserve amazing readers like you but thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
Just like that *snap*, we’re almost reaching the end of 2014. I know people say this too damn often but for me, 2014 flew by so quickly. I’ve had a whole lot of highs and lows, and when it comes to beauty, I’ve tried a lot of new things and re-discovered old forgotten gems. I’ve also tried some pretty crappy products but let’s end the it on a high note, eh? 🙂
I started doing monthly favourites again this year and what better time than now to wrap up the best of 2014?
Not exactly public transport but you get the gist
Every now and then I’d read a tweet or two on Twitter and they would be on observations on women applying makeup on the train or bus. More often than not, those tweets would go along the lines of “euuwww why didn’t she apply her makeup at home instead of doing it on the train/bus??”
This made me wonder … does it bother you when women apply makeup in public? Specifically on public transportation?
