I think this look is a great way to begin the L’Oreal Paris runway shows. Heaps of lashings of mascara plus sexy bright lips to match. I love how the eye makeup is kept simple and that emphasis is instead on using lots of mascara to open the eyes. The beautifully-shaped yet full brows frame the classic eye makeup. The plum lippie completes the look with a gorgeous pop of colour.

Runway to “Realway” option: Easily done! All you need is lots of mascara and bright pop of lip colour. You can use this for the workplace too. The lip colour’s not too red and intimidating if you’re trying this look out for the first time.

LMFF day one has begun!

It was all so exciting. Maia at Central Pier, Docklands, was absolutely buzzing with activity. Ladies dressed to the nines. Gentlemen looking mighty dapper in their suits. Champagne, juice and sparkling water circulating around. Fashionistas taking pictures and having their pictures taken. Lots of handshakes and air kisses. Oh yes, it was buzzing indeed. Oh, and did you know that the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival is the largest consumer fashion event in the WORLD? Whaddyaknow, all in wee Melbourne!

Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside knowing Melbourne is a host to such a colossal event. Mmmm… 🙂

Remember how I did the Flash Giveaway week last year? It was such a hit that I’m doing it again next week! This time, I’m calling it Flash Week, Fashion Week edition!

LMFF week kicks off tomorrow and I’m so excited I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight. Since I’m no fashionista, I’m enlisting the help of a couple of friends to, literally, teach me what to wear. Next to the outfits, I’ve outlined my entire week of what I’m going to be sharing with you. It’s my first time at Fashion Week and dammit I’m going to try my best to do it right! You’ll be expecting backstage access photos, short interviews, tips and tricks by Rae Morris, runway shots, my experience on fashion week and so on. This is so exciting!

Right, back to the Flash Giveaway. Focus, Tine, focus. 😛

For those of you who don’t know what my Flash Giveaway week was about, well, like flash sales, they come and go very quickly. Here’s how it works. There will be one giveaway a day, for the next 7 days. Each giveaway will last 24 hours before the next one begins.

For 7 days starting tomorrow, Beautyholics Anonymous (in conjunction with L’Oreal Paris) is giving away a set of L’Oreal makeup each day. There are 7 major runway looks that were created by Rae Morris and for each look, I’ll be showing you the Face Chart of basically what goes where. And at the end of each runway look, I’m giving away all the makeup used to create that look!

At the moment, I’m still ironing out the details of the giveaway so I can’t give you the exact time the first giveaway will begin. But once it does begin tomorrow at a certain time, you will have 24 hours to enter the giveaway. Once the next giveaway begins the next day at the same time I published it the day before, the previous giveaway will close. E.g. if the giveaway is published at 5pm, the next one will begin at 5pm and the first giveaway will end.

This is how it will run for the rest of the giveaways. Easy peasy.
