If you’re a blogger, then one of your most used tools (apart from Blogger, WordPress, Tumblr, etc) would most likely be email. Even if you don’t deal with brands and PRs, high chances are you’ll be communicating with other bloggers too. That’s why sometimes our blog emails resemble work emails after some time off. So many you just want to click Mark All As Read or Delete. 🙂

When using our work emails, we sign off with our work signatures. So with our blogs, why not add our blog signature at the end of our emails too?

I’ve read a lot about Koh Gen Do cosmetics on beauty blogs but haven’t the opportunity to see what they have to offer as they aren’t available in Australia. They’re available on international webstores like Barneys but with the high shipping fees or having to use parcel forwarding service to buy from Sephora, etc … gah, it’s too much work just to buy one item to try.

So when I saw Koh Gen Do makeup in Japan, I was eager to have a play with the makeup to see what it’s like. They don’t have a wide variety of colours to play with as they’re more popular for their base makeup anyway. After swatching and reswatching, I only ended up buying one item, which is the Maifanshi Natural Highlighting Powder. In hindsight, I should have purchased a foundation as well. Silly me only read the rave reviews about their foundation AFTER I was back from the holiday. Grrrr. *facepalm*

I’m not one to talk much about eyeshadows. I’m the sort who sometimes can’t be arsed to wear a lippie out of the house. I don’t do a lot of Face-of-the-Day blog posts nor write much about lip colours. But I’ll be damned if I don’t write about the one thing I love more than anything about makeup: the blush.

For me, there were two blushes that did that. The very first one that started my putting a bit of colour on my cheeks and the second that brought that colour to a whole new level.
