A Kawaii Christmas Giveaway!

It’s just two weeks before we say goodbye to 2012. Oh what a year it has been!

To say goodbye to the end of a good year and to celebrate the new year, Beautyholics Anonymous is proud to host a giveaway sponsored by yours truly. Shopping in Japan was fun, and even more so when buying gifts for this giveaway. Each item had been carefully selected for its quality (read: swatched and reswatched to make sure it looks damn good) and kawaii-ness. And really, you can’t beat the Japanese when it comes to lovely makeup and gorgeous packaging. ๐Ÿ™‚

One lucky winner will be able to win the prize below. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, none of these items were purchased at Daiso nor any cheapie stores. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Quick Beauty Tip: Exfoliate Your Lips With the Konjac Sponge

Quick Beauty Tip: Exfoliate Your Lips With the Konjac Sponge

Here’s a quick beauty tip for those who has a Konjac sponge in the bathroom (I wrote about the sponge if you’re interested in checking it out :)).

After cleansing your face and neck with the sponge, do give your lips a good bit of exfoliation as well. Just massage the sponge of your lips for 10 seconds and rinse. I find this so much easier and gentler on the lips than sugar scrubs.

Whenever I’m dehydrated from not drinking enough water, the dehydration tends to show on my lips first, forming a sort of perpetual lip liner. It’s painful and usually lasts for about a week. I find that the gentle exfoliation with the Konjac sponge helps to get rid of the dead skin cells quicker without exacerbating the area. Of course, drinking lots of water helps too.

Hope this quick tip helps. Happy Sunday folks! ๐Ÿ™‚

Five Minutes with My Favourite Blogger: Norlin @ Baubles, Bubbles & Bags

Five Minutes with My Favourite Blogger is a series of posts where Iโ€™ll be showcasing some of my favourite bloggers. These are the bloggers whom I admire and inspire me.

Enjoy!

Five Minutes with My Favourite Blogger: Norlin @ Baubles, Bubbles and Bags

Image Credits: Alexa Chung | New York | Europe

My style icon: Alexa Chung. She’s just so herself, natural, eclectic and has something nobody can emulate perfectly.

Dream holiday destination: New York! I’ve never been there and would love to experience the theatre, hustle & bustle and just the culture there.

One random thing you can find in my bag: My owl pendant from a broken necklace. I’ve been meaning to put it back together but haven’t had a chance to!

My favourite item of makeup: This is hard but I think it’s got to be the lip crayon from Missha. It’s got the right amount of colour, moisture and works like a lipstick more than a gloss unlike other lip crayons.

You will never see me without: Doing my eyebrows. I can go without makeup but eyebrows must always be done!

I’m absolutely addicted to: BB creams and Uriage thermal spray. One step make up for someone who is time poor like me and the thermal spray is a fantastic saviour for my skin in any weather.

One thing on my bucket list: To visit Europe. I have always wanted to travel there since I was a teenager, but something always comes up to stop me from going there. So that HAS to be fulfilled before I die.

Norlin blogs at Baubles, Bubbles and Bags.
