Pantene All Day Smooth Light Weight Creme

Following the success of Pantene’s 3 Minute Miracle Treatment and the Night Miracle Leave On Creme Serum, Pantene has introduced a day care formula to complete the range, the All Day Smooth Light Weight Creme.

Pantene All Day Smooth Light Weight Creme

Description:

The recharging fluid Pro-V formula absorbs into damaged tips transforming your hair into healthy locks. The lightweight formula forms a protective shield over the hair’s surface to instantly detangle and help protect your hair from signs of damage caused by air-conditioning, sun and environmental factors.

This is very similar to Pantene’s Night Miracle Leave On Creme Serum. I was comparing the ingredients between the two haircare products, and the day serum actually contained less ingredients than the night serum (this is a good thing when less ingredients are used, and that it does not sound so much like a chemistry lab on a tube). It does not contain parabens whereas the night serum does.

What’s the texture like? In comparison to the night serum, it’s lighter and runnier. It smells the same, which is good. I have a thing for Pantene’s fragrance. Smells mmmmmm-good.

A tiny dollop of this tames my unruly hair, and smooths out the kinks and frizz. It’s not heavy and does not leave any greasy residue. All in all, me likey and would give it an enthusiastic thumbs up. Personally, I prefer this to the night serum.

Pantene All Day Smooth Light Weight Creme retails at AU$6.99 for 90ml and is available at leading pharmacies and supermarkets.

What I like about it: Light in texture, does not weigh hair down. Smooths the frizz. Smells good.

What I do not like about it: Nothing.

Clarins Super Restorative Total Eye Concentrate

Clarins Super Restorative Total Eye Concentrate

What does it do?
Immediate “lift” effect for enhanced eye beauty: the unique skin-firming texture is enriched with optically-correcting pigments to help wake up eyes’ appearance.
Replenishes: the skin appears smoother, feels firmer, more supple and better toned. Lines and wrinkles are less apparent.
Filters: a specific draining action helps reduce puffiness and dark circles.
Protects: the skin is better hydrated for ultimate comfort and protected against free radicals.

What’s the texture and scent like?
The eye concentrate is light in texture and is non-greasy. I like the fact that the cream isn’t too rich or heavy because that could cause the ever-dreaded millia on the delicate skin. I can’t really describe the smell; it smells like a regular moisturiser. All I can say is, it definitely does not smell bad at all.

What do I like about it?
I’ve been using it in the evenings, and it keeps the undereye area well-hydrated and appear smoother. I’m also pleasantly surprised that it reduced my eyebags, which is always a problem area for me. It didn’t reduce the fine lines, but then again, I wasn’t expecting it to.

Clarins Super Restorative Total Eye Concentrate retails at AU$95 for 15ml.

This product was sent to me for consideration.

Endota Spa Organic Lavender & Alpine Pepper Hand Cream

I’ve been wanting to get this for ages, but sadly, couldn’t decide if I wanted to splurge 30-over bucks for a handcream. So when I saw a smaller version of it in my Primped’s Look Book event goodie bag, I squealed with delight.

Endota Spa Organics Lavender and Alpine Pepper Handcream

Description:

A luxurious, lap-it-up hand cream just wonderful to have and to hold. Lush lavender has the power to heal injury and the succulence to soak love into dry spots. It generates new skin, seals old scars, and has the good scents to calm minds. Alpine pepper adds pep to your clap by increasing circulation. Licorice naturally helps to lighten, brighten and even skin tone. Hands will help themselves with this heavenly finger food. Plump palms. Pert pinkies. And a thoroughly-nourished thumbs-up.

Endota Spa Organics Lavender and Alpine Pepper Handcream Description

I’ve been using this for daily for a couple of weeks, and my hands are in sweet, lavender heaven. It smells absolutely amazing. The cream’s light and doesn’t leave any greasy residue after application. It absorbs into the skin well, and I’m left with hydrated hands for hours. I have this on my desk, and when I’m out, I chuck it in my purse.

Is it weird that I love the smell so much, I couldn’t stop smelling my hands? Yeah? Okay.

That’s it. My mind’s made up. Once I finish this 20ml tube, I am SO getting the 90ml one.

Endota Spa Organic Lavender and Alpine Pepper Hand Cream retails at AU$34 for 90ml and is available at all Endota Spas and David Jones stores.

What I like about it: Love, love LOVE the scent. Non-greasy. Hydrates skin well.

What I do not like about it: Nothing.

Demeter Does the Funniest Scents

I salute the people of Demeter who could come up with all sorts of scents and fragrances. Just how the heck do you capture the smell of rain? Or mildew?!

I’m very tempted to get some Demeter scents, but to have to pay US$40 worldwide shipping fee for a bottle of mildew stink … really got to think about it.

Still, here are some of the ones which tickled my fancy. Some literally gave me the giggles. The smell of a thunderstorm in a bottle, anyone?

PS: No, I did NOT make these scents up. Demeter really does make them!
