Well, apparently Johnson & Johnson has decided that kids should now stop getting pampered and face reality by unveiling a Nothing But Tears shampoo.
It has an all-alcohol based formula, never been approved by leading dermatologists, and is best used with scalding hot water for optimal toughening-up of newborns.
Don’t smack that child when he/she is naughty. Just give him/her a wash :p
Happy Wednesday, ladies! Hope you’ve been having a good week so far. I’m nursing a bad cold which never seems to end. The local pharmacy’s quite in love with me with all the flu meds I buy so often. Gah.
Anyhoos, onto something more uplifting (and less gross) than a red and runny nose. From red noses to red cheeks. And a question for you. What’s your favourite type of blush?
There are so many these days, aren’t they? Nope, it’s not just powdered rouge anymore. Nowadays we have cream blushes, stick blushes and lip and cheek tints too. I like powder and liquid blushes, but I’m really liking the latter these days.
Liquid blushes tend to look more natural on me. On the days when I’m not bothered with the whole slap of primer, foundation, eye shadow and the works, I’d put on my tinted moisturiser, brush some clear brow gel on my eyebrows, put on some Posietint (I heart!), lip gloss, and I’m all ready to go. No powder necessary, and the liquid tint gives me a dewy and very natural flush. Just like the ruddiness I get on my cheeks from the cold wind.
On the days when I do use foundation, that’s where my powder blushes come in. Takes a little bit more work to do contouring and all that, but the results are worth it. But on my lazy days, my favourite cheek tint gives me the natural look I want.
Hmm did I miss anything out? If I do, well, you know what to do. Put ’em in the comments! 😉
Boy oh boy oh boy, my US shopping list is getting longer and longer as time draws near.
Just for fun, I thought I’d show you a page of my shopping list. There you go. Page one of … let’s say it hasn’t reached the end of the notebook yet :p
Hmm … I wonder if there’s anything else I’ve missed. Any ideas on stuff I should try out?
PS: And no, that’s not my actual handwriting. If only I write that neatly. Sigh.
To speed the healing of a pimple, crush an aspirin, and blend it with water to make a paste. Aspirin contains a high concentration of salicylic acid, the same beta hydroxy acid that’s in countless blemish products. Just be sure to dilute it with water to avoid irritation, and skip the trick altogether if you’re allergic to aspirin.
Thirty-something. Gemini. Happily married. Mum to a furkid. Loves shopping. Has an unhealthy adoration for makeup, bags, shoes and chocolate. Believes that sunscreen should be a religion. Hates baked beans with a vengeance. Thinks that the weekdays should be a weekend long, vice versa. Optimistic. Narcissistic. Not the average Jane. (wait, there's more!)
