Beautyholics Anonymous Turns Three!

by Tine on May 11, 2010

THE GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR PARTICIPATING!

Beautyholics Anonymous Turns Three

I’m so proud to announce that Beautyholics Anonymous is celebrating its 3rd birthday this month. It’s been three wonderful years, and it really has been fun writing about health, beauty, fashion, etc. The best part of blogging for me was getting know you readers and fellow bloggers, and having the pleasure of meeting some of you in person.

Another reason to celebrate the occasion, even though it’s slightly earlier than it should be, is that I turn 30 next month. Yep, the big 3-0. :P

And so, to celebrate these momentous occasions, I’d like to present a goodie bag to one lucky reader.

Jeslyn May 25, 2010 at 10:03 pm

Hey there, I’m Jeslyn from Malacca and I subscribed through email.

For me, the most memorable birthday will be my 21st Birthday. I was in Genting Highlands together with my BFFs. We were actually walking around indoor and just half and hour before it struck midnight, two of my BFFs said they want to get something on the hotel room. They forbid me to enter the room before midnight because they kind of suspect that I know they will be celebrating for me.lol

I do guess maybe they went to buy cake and those cheat and trap and boo..happy birthday that kind. But when I entered the hotel room at midnight, guess what.. they actually decorated the whole room with colorful balloons on the wall writing ‘Happy 21st Birthday Jeslyn’ one alphabet, one balloon with a marker pen and yes, they blow the balloons all by themselves. They surprised me with those party popped up thingy and also a super lovely cake that they rushed to buy. In 30 minutes they rush to do so many stuff just for me. And their hands were like injured due to the fact that they do not know how to tie up the balloons manually and they couldn’t find rubber bands and they ended up scratching their own hands. I am so touched back then. They are my super lovely girls and they made this day to be super memorable for me.

Ohn Mar Khin May 27, 2010 at 6:48 pm

I’m from Singapore and my memoriable birthday occasion was my 30th birthday with my beloved hubby. He bought me a chocolate cake and we celebrated only two of us in our small room. We just played the birthday songs from internet, turned off the light and blew the candles. :) ))

Sue Han May 28, 2010 at 3:34 am

hi there i am Sue Han from Malaysia and have already subscribed through email. my mos memorable birthday when i was 16 years old. I have moved into a new town and i went to a new high school with new classmates whom i barely knew. Before that day that day was Friday,my birthday and we are having our extra class at school. my classmates didn’t know about it until my teacher blurt it out when he was reading the birthday chart on the wall of our classroom. The whole class sang the whole ‘Happy birthday” song to me and even made me a mini t shirt using a piece of paper with everyone’s signatures and wishes!! it was really surprising and quite a memorable day for me!!

Jezebel May 30, 2010 at 7:53 pm

Hello !

Thank you so much for this giveaway, it’s amazing ! I come from Switzerland (so excuse my English if it’s not perfect ^^).

I never really had a great birthday… Last year, I turned 18, so it was finally the majority, and ma mother organised me a garden party with all my family, but it was not so great after all, I didn’t have the impression they came all to see me and to celebrate my birthday, but juste to see each other… I am a teentager right between adults and children, and it’s boring sometimes… And this was here that I present my boyfriend to all my family, and then he left me 3 days after… So it was finally a horrible birthday, and the other weren’t so great either.
But I turn 19 in 10 days (yeah !!!) and I hope it will be better than last year, wich will be sur if I win your contest ! I hope so…

Thank you for organising this giveway =)

Hi! I’m from Singapore and I love your site!

My most memorable birthday was when my friends threw me a surprise party (who doesn’t love surprises?). Though it wasn’t a huge affair, it was nice just having the people you enjoy being with around you!

Happy birthday, Beautyholics Anonymous!

addy May 31, 2010 at 8:07 pm

Congrats on turning 3! I’m Addy from Malaysia.

My most memorable birthday celebration would be last year’s. I really had no idea when the person who I used to be with wanted to meet me just for the sake of celebrating my birthday. We never celebrated anything while we were together so the thought of him having a surprise for me was very touching and nice (at least for me!)

Madelyn June 1, 2010 at 3:54 am

Hello :)

WOW! First, I want to cingratulate you and your blog :)

I’m from Cainta, located in the lovely island of Philippines :) Hmm, my most memorable birthday celebration would be my 18th birthday. Aside that, I have thought of myself as somehow an independent woman, my parents really made an effort to at least give me a special birthday celebration. It is not a grand and fabulous debut. It was more of an intimate celebration with friends and relatives. They also worked hard on having a fine dining caterer for the event. I am really touched, since I was just thinking of a dinner with them, then going out with friends to celebrate.

“Look no further – the love of your father and mother is not shown by how much you get from them. But by how hard they try to provide you with what would really matter in your heart”

Celine June 1, 2010 at 6:07 am

Hi!!

I am from France and I live in California since April! Big change! :D

My most memorable birthday ever was my 25th birthday. My boyfriend (who is now my husband) took me for a surprise weekend on a boat.
We were just the 2 of us, it was very romantic and we still think about those memories very often.

Teena June 2, 2010 at 2:40 pm

Hi! I am Teena from Manila. A fan & subscriber thru email. Happy 3rd bday! :)

On my 30th bday, my parents planned a “surprise” party for me. My family & staff were invited to a wonderful mini shabu shabu dinner. When it was time to lure me to the dinner place, I was stuck in the worst traffic of my life. It lasted til midnight & I never made it. It was memorable because I felt very loved even if I wasn’t present at the event.

Hi
Happy Birthday – nearly my birthday too, but I’m not counting :-)
I’ve subscribed via e-mail.
I do still remember my 21st, mainly because of the champagne and the fact that Mum & I got the giggles. The more we giggled, the crosser my Dad got and he couldn’t do anything about it. Poor Dad

Abby June 6, 2010 at 6:50 am

Hiya! Congrats on a 3rd bday! Very cool! Am a new follower with this email but have been following for a long time via another one. Confusing I know.

Anyway, my bday memory is this year’s! I went for a lovely party (not mine) and then had Japanese dinner at my fave restaurant with family, then went home only to be surprised by my “busy that night” friends with cake and pressies! And so happens the maid recognized them so they were already inside the house. Sigh, I had a fright!

Looking forward to more years of blog posts! Cheers!

XXAMLYN June 6, 2010 at 8:44 pm
