Rush, Rush, Hurry, Hurry Lover Come To Me … Sings Sunday Riley’s Blush in Rush

You know the best part about having a bestie that loves blushes and bags just as much as you do? You get to borrow and play with them anytime you like! 😀

That’s LeGeeque and I. When she gets a new blush, I get to play with it. When I get one, she gets to play with it too. It’s a great way to try out new makeup without having to buy them first. We don’t have cooties so loaning of makeup (just blushes and eyeshadows, of course) between the two of us is A-okay. 😛

Today’s blush doesn’t actually belong to me. It’s LeGeeque’s. I’ve been meaning to try out this particular shade by Sunday Riley but just when I wanted to get it, it was sold out. LeGeeque has the same shade so I thought I’d try hers out instead. This was on loan and I liked to so much, I thought I’d do a review on it too.

Rush is by far the brightest blush by Sunday Riley. It’s a beautiful of dusky rose. It’s not as peachy as it looks in the palette as it leans more towards the rosy side. The texture is buttery smooth and applies very well on the skin. It’s not powdery and certainly doesn’t feel cheap at all.

This blush is one super pigmented one. Just one light tap of the makeup brush on the powder and it’ll pick up a lot of pigment. You’ll have to remember to tap the exces off before applying on the cheeks lest you get too much colour on your skin.

I’ve tested a couple of other Sunday Riley blushes at Mecca Cosmetica and so far, this is my favourite. The colour payoff alone is worth every penny. The blushes aren’t very expensive either. For its price, you even get a velvet pouch with the blush; something you only get with high-end makeup like Chanel and Dior.

Now that I’ve tried this blush for a few times, I find myself liking the texture more and more. That’s it, I’m off to get the one in Intimate (another one I’ve been eyeing)! That is, if I *ahem* remember *ahem* to give this back to LeGeeque. 😛

Sunday Riley blushes retail at AU$36 each and are available at Mecca Cosmetica nationwide.

Have you tried any blushes by Sunday Riley before? What do you think? What about the rest of their makeup? I’ve tried the Effortless Tinted Primer, it’s quite good!
