Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Weekly Intense Treatment

I’ve not used Pantene hair products in ages. I remember using a lot of Pantene when I was in the UK, especially its clarifying shampoo. Can’t remember why it was that I stopped, but I’m very glad to have discovered this gem.

It was actually my housemate’s girlfriend who introduced these tubes of goodies to me. She brought them with her from Malaysia when she came for a visit a few weeks ago, and gave me one to try out.

Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Treatment Tube

I’d normally use all of the cream in the tube in one go, but she suggested only using half per wash, as it would suffice. I was pretty apprehensive as my hair’s long, and would need quite a lot to cover it all. I gave it a go and used half of it on my first wash, and she was right. Used half of the tube, add a tiny bit of water, lathered it well, and I could already feel the ends getting very soft.

I left it on for the duration of my soap-on-soap-off, which was less than 3 minutes. After rinsing the hair, oh my. I was amazed to discover how soft my hair was! After blow-drying and giving the hair a bit of straightening with the flat iron, my hair felt great. It was incredibly soft, manageable, and smelt great.

I highly recommend this to those with dry and coarse hair. I requested my mum to get me 5 boxes of these when she’s coming over for a visit. I don’t know how much it costs in Malaysia, but I bet it’s a lot cheaper than getting it in Australia.

Pantene Pro-V 3 Minute Miracle Weekly Intense Treatment comes three tubes in a box, and each box retails at AU$7.99 at Priceline.

What I like about it: Good fragrance, amazing softness to dry and coarse hair.

What I do not like about it: Nothing

What sort of hair treatment creams/masks do you use? I’d love to try out new ones too 🙂

I use Tsubaki Golden Hair Treatment.. it’s a tad expensive in Aus since you have to pay a premium but it works really well.

I know its quite cheap here in Malaysia. Before Pantene came into the scene, I used Timotei, Clairol Herbal Essence, St Ives but when Pantene was introduced, I was HOOKED till today although I do rotate my shampoo brands after 6 months so my hair BUT I always go back to Pantene. I agree with you on your review about the 3 minutes hair treatment, it did my curly hair many a justice 😀 and when I blow dry it straight its sooooo soft! However I am not using Pantene right now, I found a new shampoo that, out of impulse, I decided to give it a try. The only reason why I bought it was the ingredients which really helps for the hair. Its called Ascience and I just love what it does to my hair and the smell, its just sooooooo nice to smell and refreshing http://www.joseibi.com/product.asp?str=5643. Nevertheless I am still a Pantene girl but right now Ascience is my new best hair friend 🙂
Sorry I sound like Im marketing here but I thought I share with you my new hair pal!

By the way Ive never tried Pantene’s Clarifying shampoo, I am still hunting for THE clarifying shampoo that can beat Neutrogena’s which is currently unavailable here. Does Pantene’s CS work very well?

i think this is pretty pricey as compared to VO.5.
    not very sure about this.
but for a pantene brand i think its quite over priced.

I have this! and I agree with everything you say! Since my hair’s short one tube can give me at least 3 usages. and my hair will feel sooffffttt…. mmm… good for lazy ppl like me! I don’t think it’s expensive at all since I can use it 6 times. RM14 or something… I can’t remember but it’s somewhere around there

  5. Just Me

I started using these a month ago and absolutely love it. Like you, I use half a tube for each wash and been using this twice a week. My hair always feel soft and tangle free even when leaving my hair to dry naturally. I can feel the difference on the days I am not using the Pantene treatment. Tho slightly pricey but I am so addicted.

  6. Indulgent Diva

I’m using Vo5 at the moment but this sounds good. Might try it!

I’ve used this before but it didn’t worked as well for me as it did for you. Maybe I’ll try using it again.

Oh wee~ I love this product as well ^^ I’ve got a free one last time, and I fell in love right away ever since. Yes, a tube can last for few washes. Byebye dry hair! lol

i got one tube before from of a famous magazine here in the Philippines (freebie).. i was really hooked after using it, but i used it all in one go since i also have a long hair.. the effects are the same as what you have experienced. I like the feel of my hair when you were washing it off.. it is so soft.. feels like you’ve just been out from a hair treatment.

i still use it once a week (it’s quite pricey. one tube costs more than one tall bottle of shampoo does, and the box comes in 3 tubes).. i never tried using half of it, but mixing it with water might do the trick for me. I always apply it on my water-squeezed hair.. we’ll see

I’ve heard great things about Pantene’s deep treatment products. However, their shampoos…that’s an entirely different story.

I got a tube of this in one of the mags some time last year and after using it, my opinion of Pantene has changed. It really is a great product! 🙂

  12. prettybeautiful

i like this too!!! works really well, and one tube can last me for 3 uses!

  13. Xen*

I used to love pantene but after a while, it just didnt make my hair as soft anymore.. maybe I’ll give it another go (: You could try Asience, they used to be only available in Japan, Taiwan and HK but now they have it in KL Watsons too. Maybe you could get your mum to bring over a tube of their treatment. Its the best!
