Hi Tine! I have so many “bests” this year, and I can only narrow them down to 2 things – The best thing that happened to me in my personal life this year was that I bought a house! We’ve been trying to save for about 4 years, so it felt like a HUGE achievement.
The best thing professionally that happened to me in 2012, was successfully hosting a national blogging conference – during the lead-up, it felt like it might not happen, so when it all came together, it felt pretty amazing! xx

Easily, the best thing that’s happened to me in 2012 is meeting and getting close to a few people who have become a big part of my life. I’ve found true happiness โบ.
This year has been a bit of a bummer, but the best thing for me was my boyfriend and I moving out of my parents place and into our own flat! Also Tannesi’s comment is actually adorable.

Well, 2012 saw me become a professional makeup artist, move into my home I’d been building for 2 years AND fly to Sydney to attend a national blogging conference where I met some of my Blogging idols AND shop up a storm at IMATS.
I think the house might be the best of the lot but they were all amazing.

Getting my son to preschool the first time early this year was a nightmare for everyone at home. He was so clingy. Sigh of relief, he’s enjoying his everyday to the preschool and making more friends now.

The best thing that’s happened to me in 2012 is having a dog!! They’re the most loving and affectionate creatures and they will love you unconditionally
This year, I got my first job and started taking care of myself again. Im a young mom who went through changes in the different aspects of my life, including my physical appearance. After getting the job, I realized that if I want to feel confident again and be able to fully present myself in a way that I will be proud of, then I should start loving my body again. Im still a work in progress, but Im on my way. ๐
Just one thing?? That’s difficult, my year’s been pretty amazing! I guess it would be starting competing in pole, including failing miserably in one, doing well in the next, massive disappointment in the one after that with lots of crying, and then winning the latest one. I’ve learnt so much on the way. Also hitting my blogging stride, and finishing all my lab work for my PhD pretty much today! ๐

Wow. That’s really hard. There have been a lot of great, eventful things that have happened, but I think I’ll have to give credit to the small things that I realised in 2012. The little things matter, and I don’t think we give them enough credence. So, for me, the best thing this year was realising that I DO have willpower and determination. I’ve always thought that I was the sort of person who just floats around, but I’m not – I can improve my life with better choices.

The Best thing that happened to me?
Accepting that I do not have to please everyone and make everyone like me, that I should focus those whom I loved and who love me. In theory we know that, but in practise…well..it’s a different thing.
After that it’s a great weight off my mind and shoulders.

The best thing this year is that I got through year4 medical school with flying colours! It was really an awesome moment because I had worked very hard for it! I hope I am able to maintain this and graduate with similar result next year!

One of the best things that happened to me in 2012: overcoming my phobia of a certain lecturer at Bible school. He’s quite a serious guy (or rather he puts on this serious look most of the time) and sometimes I felt that he’d judge me for being me. I used to avoid him with a passion ~~ until I had a whole term whereby I couldn’t avoid taking his classes. Found out that he’s very nice after all. It was a big deal for me to have gotten over my fear of him – now I can say hi to him when I bump into him, rather than run away or doing something klutzy out of nerves! ๐

The best thing that has ever happened to me this year is that I got to spend more time with my family, meaning I got to spend my money for my family and get to go places with them (traveling, etc).
The best thing that happened to me this year was being able to be with my daughter in her 7th birthday. I am working overseas and I don’t always go home in her birthday. And I saved a fair amount of money to give to my parents as a token of gratitude for taking good care of my baby. My parents used it for a much needed house renovation. I feel so happy and blessed! ๐
I may have just discovered what i would like to do for the rest of my life. Thats pretty great aint it? ๐
I was able to purchase a car and had a lot of support from my family this year.
The best thing that happened to me in 2012 was I received an offer to complete an Honours program. Will be a lot of hard work but bring it on!!!

definitely graduating at the top of my class despite what everything people told me(because I flunk pre-uni twice because I was..young and wanted to live independent lol)
The best thing that happend to me this year would probably be graduating college and passing the nursing licensure exam. I thank God for always helping all throughout.

As odd as this might sound but being made redundant from my job was the most amazing thing ever.
I took the opportunity to move home and get healthy. Do something good for myself, I’ve lost 14kg since moving home in June!

The best thing that happened to me in 2012 is I’ve gotten a new job I absolutely love! I was teaching sports in school for a year, I love interacting with the kids but my colleagues are simply difficult to work with. On a recent discovery of a skincare brand that I can actually use, I decided to join them as their beauty specialist four months ago and I’m still enjoying every single day I work since!

The best thing this 2012 was the one-week trip I won to New York! I went with my best friend and it included a dance class in a Broadway studio, a makeover, spending money and a night out with French champagne included!! We had the BEST time.

hmm hard one. I had so many wonderful things happen. Shared weddings of great friends, received blessing of beautiful new family members and became a god mother. Spent thousands & thousands on vet bills and still have my darling dog that i am so ever grateful to still be able to hug & smooch her even though i now have no savings left. Starting a new job that i just absolutely love (cough freak) & my blog is grown at an exponential speed.
But the most wonderful yet challenging thing was getting treatment for my acne & finally being able to get my confidence back. Bye bye zit face, hello normal-ish skin.
I cannot wait to see what 2013 brings.

The best thing that happen to me in 2012 was the graduation with 10 at my university. Also, i have managed to get a cool job.

Totally lost myself when I had to go through a heartbreak and was shattered into pieces, got robbed twice, fell asleep behind the wheel and yet through it all, I found myself when I regain faith and got a promotion at work and wipe my tears dry in the arms of my mummy dearest.
Not sure what 2013 holds, but I hope we’d all have a good one ahead ๐
