TheBalm Cabana Boy: Another “Boy” For Me To Love!

TheBalm Cabana Boy

If you ask me what my favourite blush is, as difficult as it is to answer this tricky question, a blush that comes to mind would be TheBalm’s Down Boy. I’ve always been a fan of blushes from TheBalm; talk about good quality blushes that’s not too expensive. Today, I’d like to show you a new addition to my blush stash and that’s the Cabana Boy.

TheBalm Cabana Boy

The Cabana Boy is by no means a new blush by TheBalm. To be honest, when I first saw this in store years ago, I wasn’t sure if this berry shade would work for me as it looks pretty dark in the pan. But when I was gifted this blush, I decided to try it out on my cheeks properly and not just rely on a swatch on the back of my hand.

Ahh Cabana Boy … it’s been a long time coming but I think I’m in love.

TheBalm Cabana Boy

Even though it looks like a dark berry/mauve in the pan, it’s actually a dusky pink blush. It’s not as heavily pigmented like the InStain blushes but it still packs a punch within the second or third layer. It’s just the sort of quality and colour that I love in blushes. It lasts all day with just a hint of fading by the end of the day.

If you haven’t tried any of TheBalm’s BOY blushes, I highly recommend them. They’re very close to top of the line in terms of blushes for me and is more than comparable to the ones from high-end brands. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up from me!

TheBalm Cabana Boy

TheBalm’s Cabana Boy retails at AU$27.95 and is available at David Jones and Adore Beauty.

Have you tried the Cabana Boy or any of TheBalm’s BOY blushes? Did you like them as much as I did?

I haven’t tried Cabana Boy, but I am loving the sample of “Pie”, a cream blush, from How ‘Bout Them Apples. I thought it would be too red for me, but it’s a gorgeous pinked-red and because it’s cream it’s easy to blend out. Love it. Want the whole palette. But theBalm is da bomb

I wish they were a ‘little’ bit cheaper! The Balm do have a lovely collection of blushes. It’s a natural looking shade on you!

Thebalm products last a long time, I’ve had this for 2 years now and only see a slight dip in the product 🙂
Currently eyeing Hot Mama and the How About Them Apples palette (but seriously..do I really need that many cream blushes?) LOL

Ooh Frat Boy’s a good one! And to answer your question, nah we don’t really need that many cream blushes. But do we want them? Oh yes we do! 😛
